Fort Nepean National Park located at the tip of the Mornington Peninsula is a blissful place rugged with coastal beauty, military history and some beautiful walks to remember. The fort played a significant role in world war I and II. Definitely, it helps to get a glimpse into Australias’ rich wartime history.

Fort Nepean is converted to a national park and can be explored in 2 hour walk (maybe 4 hours to explore more). Hop on hop off shuttle service is available for those who need assistance.

From the car parking there are different trails to explore which can be done either by foot or by cycle or by shuttle.

Perfect blend of natural beauty, rich history and outdoor adventure..
Tips:
– Bring food and water and grab a beautiful picnic area to have snacks..
– Wear walking shoes and try to take windbreaker jackets..
