Cape Otway Light house

Amazing view of the light house..

Cape Otway Light house is built in 1848 which is perched on the cliffs 90 meter above the sea. It is the oldest surviving light house of mainland Australia.

Enroute to light house…

While traveling through great ocean road, we detour from the usual way to go to this light house. There is an entry fee which can be bought either online or at counter. Also, accomodations facilities available inside the compound which is to be prebooked.

Sunny day…

The real beauty of blue waves splashing over the cliff can be enjoyed from the top of the light house. The cool breeze which embrace us with the spectacular view skip us to a magical world. In winter, we can see whale migration according to the guard who was posted there.

Different shades of blue.

If you are really interested in history, just over hear the narrating stories that is continuously telecasting through the overhead speakers just at the entrance..

After the light house, we just drove to Marengo where we stayed overnight..
